Akynzeo Capsule contains netupitant 300mg and palonosetron 0.5mg. It is used to treat nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy (usage of medicines to treat cancer). Talk to your physician if you have liver problems, blockages in your bowel, heart problems, kidney problems, or imbalance of minerals in your blood. This medicine is not recommended for adolescents and children under the age of 18.
You need to inform your doctor if you have any intolerance to sugars before taking Akynzeo Capsule. The common side effects of this medication are feeling tired and headache. Report to your doctor if you experience any hypersensitive reactions after taking this medicine.

How Akynzeo Capsule works:
Chemotherapy makes your body release certain substances called serotonin and substance P. This stimulates the vomiting center located in the brain and causes nausea and vomiting. Akynzeo Capsule works by blocking the actions of serotonin and substance.
Interactions with other drugs:
Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking or have taken before the treatment.

How to use Akynzeo Capsule:
Take Akynzeo Capsule in a dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Swallow the capsules whole with water. Do not crush or chew the capsules.

Pregnancy:
Do not take Akynzeo Capsule if you are pregnant. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking this medicine.
Breastfeeding:
Do not breastfeed if you are taking Akynzeo Capsule. Talk to your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
Liver:
You need to talk to your doctor if you have any liver disorders before taking Akynzeo Capsule.
Kidney:
You need to talk to your doctor if you have any liver disorders before taking Akynzeo Capsule.
Driving:
Akynzeo Capsule may cause dizziness or tiredness. Avoid driving if you are unwell.
