Bandrone 6mg injection contains the active ingredient Ibandronic acid. It is prescribed to help treat or prevent osteoporosis in women. Osteoporosis refers to the thinning and weakening of bones which is common in post-menopausal women. At menopause, a woman’s ovaries stop producing the female hormone oestrogen, which helps to keep her skeletal system healthy. This is a prescription only medication and should not be taken unless prescribed by a doctor.
Uses of Bandrone 6mg injection:
- Bandrone 6mg injection is used to treat menopause related osteoporosis in older women that can lead to bone fractures.
How Bandrone 6mg injection works:
Bandrone 6mg injection contains the active ingredient Ibandronic acid which helps prevent and treat osteoporosis by reversing bone loss and increasing bone mass in post menopausal women. It helps lower the chances of bone injuries such as fractures.

Driving:
This medicine may cause weakness or dizziness in some patients. Such patients are advised to avoid driving. Consult with your doctor for advice.

Severe:
- Dizziness
- Asthma attacks

- Severe nausea and vomiting
