Bio Type Injection is a typhoid vaccine. Vaccines are used to protect you or your child against infectious diseases. This vaccine helps to protect adults and children aged 2 years and above against typhoid fever. Typhoid fever is an easily transmittable and severe disease caused by the bacterium Salmonella typhi. It mostly affects school-age children. Symptoms are headache with a fever that gets worse over 3 to 4 days.
The other symptoms are sore throat, cough, and altered behavior. You need to inform your physician if you have a high fever, a blood disorder such as hemophilia (a condition where you bleed or bruise easily), or reduced immune function before taking Bio Type Injection. You also need to tell your physician if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding before taking this vaccination.

When Bio Type Injection is given to you or your child, the body’s natural defenses make antibodies that help to protect against typhoid fever.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
