Edanox Injection contains the active constituent edaravone. It is used to treat Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis ALS. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is a neurological disorder affecting nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain, causing muscle control loss. Early symptoms are muscle weakness or stiffness. Gradually patients lose their ability to move, speak, eat and even breathe. Tell your doctor if you have asthma, allergies to any medicines, pregnant, or planning to get pregnant and breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
Tell your health care professional instantly if you experience any allergic reactions such as wheezing, fainting, dizziness, swelling of lips, face, tongue, breathing problems, itching, and asthma attack while being treated with this medicine. Tell your health care professional about recently taking medicines, including supplements and herbal drugs. Bruising, walking problems, and headache are the common side effects associated with the administration of Edanox Injection.
