Farostead 200mg Tablet is an antibiotic containing the active constituent Faropenem. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and skin structures, and gynecological infections. Talk to your doctor if you have kidney disorders, immune disorders, intolerance to some sugars, poor oral intake, or if you have a history of allergy to any drugs before taking this medicine. Report to your doctor if you experience any hypersensitive reactions while taking this medicine.
Diarrhea is a common problem associated with the use of antibiotics. Inform your doctor if you have severe or bloody stools while taking Farostead 200mg Tablet. You need to tell your physician if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding before taking this medicine. Do not skip the doses, as it may decrease the effectiveness of the treatment and increase the risk that bacteria will develop resistance.

How to use Farostead 200mg Tablet:
Always take Farostead 200mg Tablet exactly as your doctor has told you. Swallow the tablets as a whole. Do not crush or chew the tablets.

There are no established adverse effects of Farostead 200mg Tablet in pregnant women. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking this medicine. It will be given to you if clearly needed.
Breastfeeding:
Farostead 200mg Tablet may pass into the breast milk. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking this medicine. It will be given to you if clearly needed.
Kidney:
You need to tell your doctor if you have any kidney disorders before taking Farostead 200mg Tablet. Your doctor will adjust your dose according to your kidney condition.
Others:
- Inform your doctor if you have a history of allergy to any medications or if you have intolerance to some sugars because Farostead 200mg Tablet contains lactose.
