FOR IC 100MG CAPSULE

Introduction:

For IC 100mg Capsule contains pentosan polysulfate sodium. It is used to relieve the bladder pain or discomfort associated with interstitial cystitis (bladder pain syndrome). Interstitial cystitis is characterized by lesions or tiny bleeds on the bladder wall. The symptoms are moderate to severe bladder pain (often with pressure), frequent urge to urinate, and sometimes pelvic pain.

Talk to your physician if you are about to have surgery, bleeding (other than menstrual bleeding), blood clot disorders, liver disorders, family history of eye problems, or kidney problems before taking For IC 100mg Capsule. It is not recommended for adolescents and children under the age of 18.

Uses of For IC 100mg Capsule:

• Relieves the bladder pain or discomfort associated with interstitial cystitis

How For IC 100mg Capsule works:

For IC 100mg Capsule gets attached to the lining of the bladder, forms a protective layer, and prevents the irritating substances in the urine make contact with the bladder wall.

Interactions with other drugs:

Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking or have taken before the treatment.

How to use For IC 100mg Capsule:

Take For IC 100mg Capsule in a dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Take the capsules with a glass of water at least one hour before or two hours after meals. Do not crush or chew the capsules.

Pregnancy:

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking For IC 100mg Capsule. It will be given to you if clearly needed.

Breastfeeding:

Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking For IC 100mg Capsule. It will be given to you if clearly needed. 

Liver:

You need to tell your doctor if you have any liver disorders before taking For IC 100mg Capsule. 

Kidney:

You need to tell your doctor if you have any kidney disorders before taking For IC 100mg Capsule. 

Others:

• Talk to your physician if you have blood clot disorders, a family history of eye problems, or if you are about to have any surgery before taking For IC 100mg Capsule. 

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Common:

• Headache, dizziness
• Abdominal pain, abdomen enlarged
• Nausea, indigestion
• Fluid accumulation in legs or arms
• Hair loss
• Abnormal liver function
• Infections, flu
• Back pain
• Rectal bleeding
