Fulvidax 250mg Injection contains the active constituent fulvestrant. It is used in the treatment of estrogen receptor-positive metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It is also used in combination with Palbociclib in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive, and human epidermal growth factor 2-negative breast cancer (metastatic). It is not recommended in patients with chronic liver problems.
Talk to your doctor if you have bleeding disorders, bone diseases, alcoholism, liver or kidney problems. It is not recommended for adolescents and children under 18 years of age. Use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least 2 years after the last dose. Inform your doctor if you experience any allergic reactions such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat while being treated with Fulvidax 250mg Injection.

- Treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women
How Fulvidax 250mg Injection works:
Fulvidax 250mg Injection binds to the receptors present in the cells of breast cancer, downregulates them and prevents the growth of tumors.

Keep out of sight and reach of children. Store in refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C protected from light. Do not freeze.

How to use Fulvidax 250mg Injection:
The Fulvidax 250mg Injection will be given to you by health care professional. Do not attempt to inject yourself unless you are trained to do so by your physician or health care provider. Take exactly as your health care provider tells you to take it.
Safety advice:
Pregnancy:
Fulvidax 250mg Injection can harm the unborn baby when administered to a pregnant woman. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking this medicine.
Breastfeeding:
You must not breast feed while on treatment with Fulvidax 250mg Injection. Inform your physician if you are breastfeeding before taking the medicine.
Liver:
It is not recommended for patients with severe liver problems. Talk to your doctor if you have any liver problems.
Kidney:
Inform your physician if you have any kidney diseases.
Driving:
consult your doctor before driving and handling heavy machinery while taking this medication.
Others:
- Inform your doctor about your allergic conditions and other diseases you have.
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
Serious:
- Sudden signs of allergy (swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat)
- Risk of blood clots
- Liver failure
- Low level of platelets
Common:
- Nausea, vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Backpain
- Weakness
- Joint and muscle pain
- Loss of appetite
- Feeling of intense heat with sweating
- Injection site reactions (pain, inflammation)
