Hepcinat 400mg Tablet is an antiviral medication containing the active constituent sofosbuvir. It is used to treat chronic hepatitis C virus infection (HCV). Hepatitis C is an infection affecting the liver caused by the hepatitis C virus. It is always taken with other medicines to treat hepatitis C. It is essential to inform if you currently take, or taken in past months, any medication for heart problems. Your doctor may consider different treatments based on the medicines you are taking.
Inform your doctor if you have other liver problems, infection with hepatitis B, diabetes, had a liver transplant, or are on dialysis. It is not advisable for children under three years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Hepcinat 400mg Tablet. It is important not to miss a dose of this medicine. Tell your doctor if you had a liver transplant or you are on dialysis.

Hepcinat 400mg Tablet works by inhibiting the enzyme NS5B Polymerase in HCV virus and lowering the amount of hepatitis C virus in your body.

How to use Hepcinat 400mg Tablet:
Take Hepcinat 400mg Tablet in the dose and duration prescribed by your physician. Swallow the tablets whole and intact. Do not break or chew the tablets. It should be taken with food. Do not change or miss a dose.

You should not take this medicine during the pregnancy unless your doctor recommends to take. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to pregnant before taking this medicine.
Breastfeeding:

Liver:
Inform your doctor if you have liver diseases before taking Hepcinat 400mg Tablet.
Kidney:

Driving:
The medicine may make you feel dizzy, avoid driving during treatment.
