Introduction to Juvederm Ultra Plus Xc Injectable Gel
Juvederm ultra plus XC injectable gel contains an active ingredient called hyaluronic acid + lidocaine hydrochloride. Hyaluronic acid is an anti-wrinkle agent. It is a moisturizer that helps to stretch the skin and reduce wrinkles and lines. Lidocaine belongs to a group of local anesthetics. It is used to correct facial tissue (moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, like nasolabial folds). It is also used to treat lip augmentation, correct perioral lines, and improve under-eye hollows.
Inform your doctor if you have skin injury, scar or pigmentation disorders before using the drug. Consult your doctor if you are allergic to lidocaine or any of the ingredients. The safety and efficacy of juvederm ultra plus XC injectable gel have not been studied for individuals under 18 years of age. So, it is recommended to consult your doctor or dermatologist before using it. Speak with your doctor if you plan to do laser treatments or a chemical peel or under any medication like chemotherapy/ immunotherapy before starting to use it. Don't use makeup for 12 hours after the treatment and minimize vigorous exercise exposure to sun or heat after using the drug.
