Introduction to Neomol 80mg Injection
Neomal 80mg Suppository contain the active constituent Paracetamol. It belongs to the class of medications called analgesics and antipyretics. A suppository is a small, torpedo-shaped medicine inserted into the rectum. It is used to treat pain and high temperature (fever) in children from 1 to 5 years of age. They can be used in children who find it difficult to take paracetamol as tablets or syrup.
Do not give Neomal 80mg Suppository if your child is allergic to Paracetamol, soya, peanuts, or any other ingredients and if you suffer from severe liver disease. Inform your physician if your child has liver disease and kidney problems. The most common side effects of Neomal 80mg Suppository are allergic reactions like itching or hives, swelling in the face or hands, swelling or tingling in the mouth or throat, tightness in the chest, and trouble breathing. Other side effects include blood in stools or balck tarry stools, dark-colored urine or pale stools, lightheadedness, fainting, weakness, and sweating.

- To treat pain and fever in children from 1 to 5 years of age.
Therapeutic Effects of Neomol 80mg Injection
Neomal 80mg Suppository reduce fever by inhibiting the formulation and release of hormone-like substances (prostaglandins) in the CNS and by inhibiting substances like endogenous pyrogens at the hypothalamic thermoregulator center. The analgesic activity of Neomal 80mg Suppository is by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, particularly COX-3, in the CNS.

Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications interact with Neomal 80mg Suppository and reduce their effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

How to consume Neomol 80mg Injection
This medicine is for rectal use only. Always use this medicine exactly as directed by the doctor. Your childās bowels must be empty when you give them this medicine. If your child needs to go to the toilet, ensure they do it before you give them the suppository. Do not break the suppository before use. Push the suppository into your childās back passage (rectum) with the pointed end first. Wash your hands before you give the suppository.Ā
