Pacliall 100mg Injection is a chemotherapy medication containing the active constituent paclitaxel. It is used to treat breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer, and AIDS (Acquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome) related Kaposi’s sarcoma. This medication may also be used to treat cancers in the cervix, bladder, skin, and esophagus. Cancer is a condition in which cells are dividing and growing fast and in an uncontrolled manner. This medicine is not recommended for adolescents and children under the age of 18.
Pacliall 100mg Injection may be given alone or in combination with other anticancer medicines. This chemotherapy medication is contraindicated in patients with severe liver problems, uncontrolled infection, and low white blood cell or platelet count. Talk to your doctor if you have heart disorders before taking this medicine.
Administration of this medicine may cause serious allergic reactions. Use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least six months after the last dose. Pacliall 100mg Injection may be harmful to the patients suffering from alcoholism as this medicine contains alcohol.
Uses of Pacliall 100mg Injection:
- Cancers in the breast, ovary, bladder, cervix, skin, and esophagus
- Non-small cell lung cancer
- AIDS-related Kaposi’s sarcoma
How Pacliall 100mg Injection works:
Pacliall 100mg Injection inhibits the microtubule structures present in the cell. Microtubule structures help cancer cells to divide and multiply. Inhibition of these structures slows the growth of cancer cells.

- Store at controlled room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.

Pregnancy:
Pacliall 100mg Injection can harm your unborn baby. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant, or planning to get pregnant before taking this medicine.
Breast-feeding:
Do not breastfeed while taking Pacliall 100mg Injection. Consult your doctor for potential risks and benefits.
Liver:
It is important to tell your doctor if you have any liver disorders before taking this medicine.
Kidney:
It is important to tell your doctor if you have any kidney disorders before taking this medicine.
Driving:
This medicine may make you dizzy. Avoid driving if you are unwell.
Others:
- Talk to your doctor if you have heart disorders, allergic conditions, or other diseases before taking Pacliall 100mg Injection.
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medical treatment. Although all medicines can cause side effects, everyone will not get them.
Serious:
- Severe decreased blood cell counts
- Severe nerve problems (tingling, numbness, or pain in hands or feet)
- Severe infection (fever)
- Lung or breathing problems (dry cough or shortness of breath)
- Severe allergic reactions (breathing difficulty, sudden swelling of lips, throat, face, or tongue, rash)
Common:
- Hair loss
- Nausea, vomiting
- Pain in muscles, or joints
- Headache
- Nose bleeds
- Swelling of mucosal and soft tissues
- Sleep problems
- Changes in taste
- Weight loss
- Diarrhea, constipation
- Sore mouth
- Loss of appetite
