PROTA 50MG INJECTION
PROTAMINE SULFATE
Manufacturer : SAMARTH LIFE SCIENCES PVT LTDOrigin of Medicine : IndiaIntroduction:
Prota 50mg Injection contains protamine sulfate. It is used to treat heparin overdose. Heparin is used to treat blood clots. The blood-thinning effect of heparin usually disappears within hours of discontinuation of the drug. Mild bleeding due to heparin can be controlled without an antidote. If severe bleeding occurs, protamine sulfate is used to neutralize the effect of heparin and prevents it from thinning the blood too much.
