Viro 4 Kit Tablet is a kit containg two medications. One medication containing Lamivudine 300mg and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 300mg. Other medication containing Atazanavir 300mg and Ritonavir 100mg. It is used to treat HIV infection. HIV is a Human immunodeficiency virus that attacks and destroys the cells involved in the immune system; the body’s ability to fight against infections decreases and leads to death if not treated properly. Inform your doctor if you have any liver diseases, including hepatitis B or C, kidney disease, bone disorders, infections, heart problems, clotting disorders, diabetes or if you are overweight before taking this medicine.
Talk to your doctor about choosing an effective method of contraception as this medicine may reduce the effectiveness of hormonal contraceptives such as contraceptive patch and birth control pills. Do not share personal objects such as razors or toothbrushes with anyone. Do not breastfeed. Viro 4 Kit Tablet is not advisable for children and adolescents under the age of 18.

How Viro 4 Kit Tablet works:
Atazanavir and Ritonavir inhibits the viral enzyme protease; Lamivudine and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate inhibits the enzyme reverse transcriptase, inhibition of these enzymes blocks the reproduction of the virus, prevents the release of viral particles in the body, and treats the infection.

How to use Viro 4 Kit Tablet:
Always take Viro 4 Kit Tablet exactly as your doctor has told you. Take this medicine with food (a snack or meal) to help it work better. Do not break or chew the tablets. Do not miss any doses of this kit. Contact your doctor if you have any doubts.

Pregnancy:
This kit can cause harm to unborn babies. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking Viro 4 Kit Tablet. It will be given to you only if clearly needed. If you are pregnant while you are taking this kit, your doctor will perform extra checkups (including blood tests) to make sure your baby is developing normally.
Breastfeeding:
Breastfeeding is not recommended because the viral infection and active substances in the medicine can pass through breast milk.
Liver:
Your liver diseases may get worse when you take this kit. It is essential to inform your doctor if you have any liver disorders before taking Viro 4 Kit Tablet.
Kidney:
Your doctor may perform blood testes to evaluate your kidney function before starting the treatment as this medicine may affect your kidneys during the treatment. It is essential to inform your doctor if you have any kidney disorders before taking Viro 4 Kit Tablet.
Driving:
Taking this kit can cause dizziness. Avoid driving if you are unwell.
Others:
- Do not share personal objects such as razors or toothbrushes with anyone.
- Consult your doctor about safe sex practices.
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
Serious:
- Lactic acidosis (deep breathing, nausea, stomach pain, drowsiness, vomiting)
- Autoimmune disorders (muscle weakness, palpitations)
- Infection, inflammation
- Liver problems (yellowing of skin and whites of eyes, loss of appetite, pain or tenderness below your ribs, itchy skin)
- Changes in body fat
- Severe allergic reactions
- Kidney stones
Common:
- Diarrhea
- Headache, dizziness
- Difficulty sleeping
- Rash
- Hair loss
- Flatulence
- Increase in blood sugar and cholesterol levels
