Ademetionine/s-Adenosyl l-methionine has been developed to treat intrahepatic cholestasis in pregnant women and adults with chronic liver disorders. S-adenosyl l methionine is also indicated to treat depression.
How is S-ADENOSYL L- METHIONINE administered?
Ademetionine/s-Adenosyl l-methionine is available in the form of 400mg tablets. The recommended dose is 400mg to 1200mg per day for 6 months.
Side Effects of S-ADENOSYL L- METHIONINE
Ademetionine/s-Adenosyl l-methionine is associated with side effects like rash, pruritus, muscle pain, fever, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, headache and dizziness. If you experience any allergic or hypersensitivity reactions after taking this tablet, report to your physician immediately.
Warnings
During the Ademetionine/s-Adenosyl l-methionine treatment, your doctor may periodically monitor your blood parameters to prevent serious complications. Report to your doctor if you have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, Parkinson’s disease, or problems in your lungs, heart or kidneys.
