Tadalafil + dapoxetine was approved for medical use to treat erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation in men of the age group between 18 to 64 years.

Tadalafil + dapoxetine helps people delay premature ejaculation and help them achieve and maintain good erections for sexual activities. An erection that is not strong enough for sexual engagement can be a result of erectile dysfunction. Men who ejaculate too soon and with minimal sexual arousal are said to be experiencing premature ejaculation.  It helps achieve a balanced sexual life in men.

Tadalafil + dapoxetine combination is available in tablet form containing tadalafil 10 mg and dapoxetine 30mg. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition.

Tadalafil+Dapoxetine can cause side effects like any other medicine. Sometimes it may cause some serious side effects that include skin reactions (allergy, blisters), palpitations (increased heartbeats), priapism (prolonged erection), and commonly, people may experience dizziness, headache, blurred vision, nasal congestion, mood changes (irritable, anxious, agitated, or restless), nausea, vomiting, dry mouth.

 Tadalafil + dapoxetine is not meant for use in women. Children and teenagers less than the age of eighteen should not use this medication. Avoid taking Tadalafil + dapoxetine if you are allergic to dapoxetine hydrochloride, tadalafil, or any of its components.

It is not recommended to use this medication if you have had a heart attack within the last three months, have low blood pressure, have mental health problems such as depression or mania, have a history of bleeding or blood clotting problems, or suffer from significant liver or renal impairment. Before beginning this treatment, tell your doctor about your condition and give them a thorough history of all your medications.

Tadalafil + dapoxetine is only intended for treatment in men. It should not be given to women, therefore not suitable for pregnancy and breastfeeding. Inform your healthcare provider about any pre-existing lung diseases and severe liver conditions before starting the medication. Consuming alcohol is not advised due to its potential to affect both erection quality and induce dizziness. Furthermore, it is recommended to refrain from driving or operating heavy machinery due to the potential for dizziness and drowsiness. Always consult your doctor for personalised advice and guidance.

It is recommended to drink at least one full glass of water with this medication to reduce the chance of fainting. Engaging in sexual activity can increase cardiac strain; if you get any symptoms, such as nausea, dizziness, or chest discomfort during intercourse, stop immediately and seek medical attention. If you experience prolonged and painful erections, immediate medical attention is necessary to prevent permanent erectile dysfunction. After taking the drug, if you feel dizzy, sit or lie down to avoid falling owing to low blood pressure. Consuming grapefruit juice for 24 hours before taking this medication is not recommended as it may increase the risk of medication toxicity.
