Admesyl 400mg Tablet is a dietary supplement medication containing the active ingredient ademetionine. It is a naturally-occurring compound that plays a major role in various biochemical processes, in which it synthesizes neurotransmitters like serotonin, melatonin, and dopamine, which are important for mood regulation and mental health. This medication is used to treat the pain associated with osteoarthritis, likely due to its anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps to support liver health in elderly patients.

During the treatment, your doctor may periodically monitor your blood parameters to prevent serious complications. Report to your doctor if you have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, parkinson’s disease, or problems in your lungs, heart, or kidneys. Ademetionine undergoes a methylation process and takes part in the synthesis of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant. This process decreases inflammation and protects the cells from damage.

Inform your physician about all your medicines, including prescription, over-the-counter, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications such as anti-depressants may interact with Admesyl 400mg Tablet and reduce effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.
