Introduction to Calyst Tablet
Calyst tablet contain active ingredients such as Calcium and Vitamin D3. It is used to treat low calcium and vitamin D in our body. It can be given for certain bone conditions such as osteoporosis (thinning of bone) along with other medicines. It is estimated to prevent hip and non-vertebral bone fractures over some time. Calcium is a mineral essential for the development and maintenance of strong bones and teeth and for the proper functioning of the heart, nerves, and muscles. Vitamin D3, or cholecalciferol, is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps the body absorb and utilize calcium. Together, Calyst tablet work synergistically to promote healthy bones and teeth and to support other physiological processes in the body.
Inform your doctor if you have an allergy to calcium or vitamins or any of their ingredients. Consult your doctor if you have sugar intolerance before using the medicine. Talk to your doctor if you have kidney stones or kidney problems, high levels of calcium in urine, osteoporosis due to inactivity, such as long-term bed rest, and sarcoidosis (inflammation disease). Your doctor may recommend that you monitor the calcium level and kidney function test if you take the medicine for a long period. Inform your doctor about the prescribed and non-prescribed medicine before using the tablet. The safety and efficacy of the medicine have not been established in children under 12 years of age.
