Cireta Tablet consists of Calcium citrate (elemental calcium – 250mg) and Vitamin D3 1000IU. It reduces calcium and vitamin D deficiency in patients with irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease.
Inflammatory bowel disease results due to inflammation affecting the colon (ulcerative colitis), or anywhere from the mouth to anus (Crohn's disease). Irritable bowel syndrome is characterized by recurring stomach pain, bloating and discomfort due to abnormal defecation. Environmental, genetic and psychosocial factors trigger these diseases.
Vitamin D deficit is prevalent in patients with bowel diseases and these patients are more prone to secondary osteoporosis.
Uses of Cireta Tablet:
- Treatment of calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency
- Effective supplementation for bone disorders and hypoparathyroidism.
How Cireta Tablet works:
Cireta Tablet works by enhancing the absorption of calcium and toughens the bones. Calcium is essential for the normal functioning of the cells, muscles, bones and nerves. Vitamin D3 regulates the immune response to the bacteria present in the intestine and controls the receptors involved in inducing inflammation.
