Glushield Tablet contains an active component called Glutathione and Vitamin C. This medication is often used to improve skin health and appearance. It is said to help lighten skin tone, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve skin elasticity. It is also used to treat skin conditions such as eczema (skin condition causing itchy, inflamed, and irritated skin), psoriasis(chronic skin disorder resulting in raised, red, and scaly patches, often itchy and uncomfortable), and acne. It also boosts the immune system and improves resistance to infection. This medication  is sometimes used to support liver health and support eye health.


People allergic to Glushield tablets should not take this medication. People with G6PD deficiency should not take this medication, as it contains vitamin C, which can trigger red blood cell breakdown.  People with kidney disease should use it cautiously, as it contains L-glutathione, which is excreted by the kidneys. This medication affects blood sugar levels. Therefore, people with diabetes should use it with caution and monitor their blood sugar levels closely.


It may interact with blood thinners, such as warfarin. Therefore, people taking blood thinners should talk to their doctor before taking this medication. Glushield Tablet is generally considered to be safe for most people to take, including older adults.
