Introduction to Presilux Cream 60gm

Presilux 60gm belongs to the group of topical band-pass filter creams (TBFC). It is an internationally acclaimed topical cream providing a safe and convenient method for natural phototherapy in vitiligo (skin disease with white patches of the skin losing their pigment) and psoriasis patients. Presilux cream enables day-time self-treatment with the sun’s therapeutic UV rays for repigmentation in vitiligo and lesion clearance in psoriasis.

Remember that presilux cream 60gm is meant for external use only. If you notice a rash, it's important to discontinue use and consult a doctor promptly. Avoid applying the cream on damaged or broken skin to prevent adverse reactions. Always keep the product out of reach of children to ensure their safety and well-being. These guidelines will help you use presilux cream 60gm effectively while prioritizing your skin health and safety.

Uses of Presilux Cream 60gm

  • Repigmentation in vitiligo
  • Lesion clearance in psoriasis

Therapeutic Effects of Presilux Cream 60gm

The therapeutic effect of presilux cream 60gm lies in its utilization of natural phototherapy. Natural phototherapy is the therapeutic use of natural sunlight, specifically its ultraviolet (UV) rays, to treat certain skin conditions. Sunlight contains various types of UV rays, including UVA, UVB, and UVC. Among these, UVB rays are particularly beneficial for skin conditions like vitiligo and psoriasis.

Presilux acts as a filter, allowing specific wavelengths of UV rays (311–313 nm) to reach the skin while filtering out unwanted wavelengths. This selective filtering mimics the effects of artificial narrowband ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) phototherapy, which is a standard treatment for skin conditions. By enabling day-time self-treatment using the sun’s natural UV rays, presilux provides a safe and effective way for patients with vitiligo and psoriasis to benefit from natural phototherapy, promoting skin repigmentation and lesion clearance.

Next, apply presilux cream evenly onto the lesion(s) or affected areas. Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen cream for non-lesion or unaffected areas, avoid spraying suntan lotions.
