Renuris Powder contains a blend of whey protein in high concentrations, rich in essential amino acids with no added sucrose. It is available in an orange flavor. This powder is highly recommended to manage malnutrition in end-stage kidney disease (requires renal replacement therapy like dialysis to compensate for irreversible deterioration of kidney function) patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
Malnutrition is a common issue among CKD patients, primarily due to factors such as decreased appetite and inadequate oral nutrition intake. This nutritional deficiency becomes even more pronounced in individuals undergoing dialysis as they face additional challenges, such as dietary restrictions, metabolic dysfunction, and removing essential nutrients during the dialysis procedure.
