Prednisolone (as Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate):

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush it.
  

• It is best taken after meals to reduce stomach irritation.
  

• Do not stop the medication suddenly without consulting your doctor, as this can lead to withdrawal symptoms or worsening of the condition.

• Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  

• Keep out of reach of children.
  

• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date mentioned on the pack.

• Adults and adolescents are prescribed this medicine for inflammatory or allergic conditions.
  

• Not recommended for children unless advised by a paediatrician.
  

• Patients with chronic respiratory, joint, or skin inflammation should be under the care of a medical professional.

• Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, as it may increase the risk of stomach irritation.
  

• Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, liver or kidney problems, hypertension, or infections.
  

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
  

• Avoid close contact with people who have infections like chickenpox or measles.
  

• Do not stop using the medication abruptly without consulting a doctor.

• Take the tablet at the same time each day for consistent results.
  

• Eat a balanced diet rich in calcium and protein to maintain bone strength during long-term use.
  

• Avoid exposure to infection and maintain good hygiene.
  

• Follow your doctor’s tapering schedule strictly if discontinuing treatment.
  

• Report any mood changes, unusual tiredness, or signs of infection promptly.
