Introduction to Supracal Iso Tablet
Supracal Iso tablet is a dietary supplement that contains a three active ingredients called Soy Isoflavones, Calcitriol, Calcium Citrate. It is used in osteoporosis, vitamin D deficiency, diabetes, menopausal symptoms, hypophosphatemia (low level of phosphate in the blood), hypocalcemia (a low level of calcium in the blood), cardiovascular health, bone diseases in renal osteodystrophy (a complication of chronic kidney disease that weakens your bones), postmenopausal osteoporosis, pre-dialysis.Â
Supracal Iso tablet should not be consumed if you are allergic to Soy Isoflavones, Calcitriol, Calcium Citrate, or any of its ingredients in the medication. Before taking the medicine, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant or think you might be pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding. This medicine is not advised to use in children under 18 years old. Notify your doctor if you are on a low-sodium diet or planning to have surgery, including dental procedures. Avoid consuming other vitamin D supplements with this medicine.Â
Notify your physician if you are taking any other medicine, such as antacid, to avoid interaction and side effects. Do not take Supracal Iso tablet if you have high levels of calcium in your blood (hypercalcemia), overactive parathyroid glands (hyperparathyroidism), a condition called Zollinger Ellison syndrome, kidney stones, excess calcium in your urine, impaired kidney function, or vitamin D toxicity. It is advised to avoid alcohol and grapefruit or grapefruit juice.Â

Therapeutic Effects of Supracal Iso Tablet
Calcitriol is a man-made form of Vitamin D3 that raises calcium levels in the blood by improving calcium absorption. Calcium carbonate prevents or treats calcium deficiency, supporting bone formation. Soy isoflavones improve heart health and strengthen bones in postmenopausal women. Â
