Introduction to Abcixirel 10mg Injection

Abcixirel 10mg injection contains an active ingredient called Abciximab, which belongs to the group of medicines called monoclonal anti-glycoprotein IIb/IIIa receptor antibody. It is used in heart treatment to safeguard the arteries and prevent blood clot formation. It is used in patients with unstable angina or mild heart attacks to reduce the risk of subsequent heart attacks. This injection helps maintain blood flow in the arteries by inhibiting platelet aggregation and clot formation, ensuring better protection and minimizing the chances of further heart-related complications.

Do not use Abcixirel 10mg injection if you are allergic to Abciximab or any of its ingredients. Do not use this injection if you have active internal bleeding, recent (within six weeks) gastrointestinal or genitourinary bleeding of clinical significance, a history of cerebrovascular accident (CVA) within the past two years, or CVA with a significant residual neurological deficit. Additionally, if you have a bleeding diathesis, have been administered oral anticoagulants within the past seven days without achieving prothrombin time within 1.2 times the control, or have thrombocytopenia with a platelet count below 100,000 cells/μL, you should avoid using this product. Furthermore, suppose you have undergone major surgery or trauma in the last six weeks. In that case, have an intracranial neoplasm, arteriovenous malformation, or aneurysm, suffer from severe uncontrolled hypertension, have a presumed or documented history of vasculitis, or have been treated with intravenous dextran before the percutaneous coronary intervention or intend to use it during an intervention. The safety and effectiveness of this medicine have not been studied in children.

Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor if you are taking blood-thinning medications like heparin or others. Abcixirel 10mg injection may increase the risk of bleeding, especially when combined with these drugs. Your doctor will consider the potential benefits and risks of the treatment. If severe bleeding occurs and can't be controlled, they will stop the infusion and any other blood-thinning medication you may be taking. It's important to discuss your medical history and any concerns with your doctor so they can provide the best and safest treatment plan for you. Before taking the medicine, notify your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or think you may be pregnant or are breastfeeding. The common side effects of the medicine are erythema (skin redness), inflammation, rash, pruritus (itching), skin dryness, and swelling.
