Introduction to Anastroget 1mg Tablet
Anastroget 1mg tablet is an anticancer drug with the ingredient Anastrozole. It belongs to the medication class known as aromatase inhibitors. It is used to treat hormone-dependent breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Aromatase inhibitors reduce estrogen levels by preventing an enzyme in adipose tissue from converting other hormones into estrogen. This medication helps to delay the recurrence of early-stage breast cancer.
The common side effects are nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fever, itching, inflammation of the joints (arthritis), bone loss (osteoporosis), bleeding from the vagina, hypersensitivity, and joint, stomach, and kidney pain.
If you are allergic to Anastrozole or its ingredients, tell your doctor before starting treatment with this medication. Tell your doctor if you are still experiencing menstruation and have not yet reached menopause, have osteoporosis, or have any liver or kidney problems. If you are lactose intolerant, consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Do not take medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Inform your healthcare provider about all your medicines, including prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Anastroget 1mg tablet and reduce effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.
