Introduction
Bevaneal 100 Injection is an anticancer medicine containing the active ingredient bevacizumab. It works by preventing the growth of tumours by blocking the formation of new blood vessels that supply cancer cells. Among the key bevaneal uses, it is indicated along with other chemotherapy medicines for bevaneal cancer treatment in conditions such as metastatic breast cancer, brain cancer, cervical cancer, kidney cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer. It is also used to treat cancers of the ovary, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. Patients often enquire about bevaneal 100mg price, which may vary depending on the hospital, location, and supplier.
The bevaneal injection dosage is decided strictly by the oncologist based on the type of cancer, body weight, treatment protocol, and overall health condition. Use effective birth control during treatment and for at least six months after the last dose, as the medicine may harm an unborn baby.
This medicine should not be taken for 28 days before and after surgery, as it is linked to poor wound healing and increased bleeding risk. Inform your doctor if you have any dental issues requiring surgery before starting treatment. Common bevaneal side effects may include high blood pressure, tiredness, protein in urine, bleeding, delayed wound healing, and gastrointestinal discomfort. If you develop vision changes, severe headache, confusion, or unusual bleeding, report to your doctor immediately to prevent complications.

How Bevaneal 100 Injection works
Bevaneal 100 Injection is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that works as a targeted therapy in the treatment of various advanced cancers. It produces its action by selectively binding to the protein called vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), which is present in the lining of blood and lymph vessels in the body. It interrupts the interaction of VEGF-A with its receptors. This further inhibits the formation of blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the tumour. As a result, it slows down the rate of progression of cancer.
