Bilahenz 20mg Tablet works by selectively blocking H1 histamine receptors in the body, which effectively prevents histamine from binding to these receptors. By doing so, this drug reduces or prevents the allergic reactions triggered by histamine release, leading to relief from allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itching, and watery eyes. 

Inform your physician about all your medicines, including prescription, over-the-counter, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications such as ketoconazole, erythromycin, diltiazem, cyclosporine, ritonavir, and rifampicin may interact with Bilahenz 20mg Tablet and reduce effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

• Store Bilahenz 20mg Tablet in a cool, dry and dark place
• Protect from light and moisture.

Take the Bilahenz 20mg Tablet as advised by your physician. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the tablet if your doctor advises you to stop.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

• Swelling of lips, face, throat, or tongue, difficulty breathing

Common

• Headache
• Drowsiness

This tablet should not be taken with food or grapefruit juice or other fruit juices, as these can decrease the effectiveness of Bilahenz 20mg Tablet. To ensure optimal absorption, take the tablet and wait for one hour before consuming food or juice. If you have consumed food or fruit juice, wait for two hours before taking the tablet.
