Biovac A Vaccine uses are:

• Prevention from Hepatitis A virus infection.

Inj Biovac works by neutralizing the HAV particles, and the antibodies prevent the virus from infecting hepatocytes in the liver. This vaccine prevents the virus replication within the liver cells and the subsequent liver damage that can occur during an active Hepatitis A infection.

1. Immunosuppressants (Severe)
   Medicines such as high-dose steroids, ciclosporin, or tacrolimus may reduce the immune response to Biovac A. Inform your doctor if you are on these treatments before vaccination.

2. Chemotherapy Medicines (Severe)
   Ongoing chemotherapy can weaken the immune system and reduce vaccine effectiveness. Take only under oncologist guidance.

3. Biologic Immunomodulators (Severe)
   Drugs like rituximab or infliximab may blunt the vaccine response. Your doctor may advise adjusting the vaccination schedule.

4. Anticoagulants (Moderate)
   Medicines such as warfarin may increase the risk of bleeding or bruising at the injection site. Inform your doctor for monitoring if needed.

5. Antiviral Medicines for Hepatitis A (Moderate)
   Certain antivirals may reduce vaccine effectiveness. Use together only if advised by your healthcare provider.

• Store the Biovac A Vaccine in a refrigerator between (2°C-8°C).

• Keep away from moisture, heat, and light.

• It should not be frozen.

It will be given to you by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinical setting. It is given as an intramuscular Vaccine (into the muscle). Do not self-administer the Vaccine. Your doctor will decide the Biovac A Vaccine dosage and duration of the treatment based on your disease severity, body weight, and other factors. The vaccine is typically given in three doses for infants, with the first dose administered at birth or shortly after that and the second and third doses given at 1-2 months and six months of age according to the biovac a vaccine dose schedule. Consult your doctor to know more about biovac a vaccine dose. 

Biovac A Vaccine side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

• Completing the full Biovac A vaccine schedule is essential for optimal protection against Hepatitis A.

• If traveling to areas with a higher risk of Hepatitis A, receive the vaccine well in advance.

• Complete the vaccine schedule at least two weeks before departure to allow adequate time for immune response development.

• Avoid contact with objects or surfaces touched by infected individuals who have not properly washed their hands to prevent virus transmission.

• Practice proper food hygiene and sanitation to prevent HAV spread through contaminated food and water.

• Take sufficient rest after vaccination to support fast recovery and optimal immune response.
