Introduction to Busulmax 60mg Injection

Busulmax 60mg Injection tablet is an anti-cancer (antineoplastic/cytotoxic) chemotherapy drug. It is an alkyl sulfonate belonging to the class alkylating agent. It is indicated for treating blood cancers, such as chronic myelogenous leukemia (A type of cancer that causes an increase in white blood cells). It is given as a treatment to prepare the bone marrow to receive healthy blood-forming cells (stem cells) from a donor to replace their stem cells that have been destroyed by treatment with radiation or high doses of chemotherapy).

Chronic myelogenous leukemia is an uncommon type of cancer that affects bone marrow (soft, spongy tissue that produces blood cells for your body). It causes an increase in white blood cell count. Common side effects of Busulmax 60mg Injection tablets are decreased white blood cells, dizziness, shortness of breath, mouth inflammation, nausea, diarrhea, difficulty sleeping, and fever. Drink plenty of fluids while you are taking this medicine.

Busulmax 60mg Injection can cause a severe decrease in bone marrow activity. If you are taking any other prescribed or non-prescribed medications that decrease the blood cell count, talk to your healthcare professional before taking the medications. Busulfan tablets affect your immune system. You may get infections more easily, even serious or fatal infections. Call your doctor if you have a fever, chills, cough, mouth sores, or unusual bleeding or bruising.

Therapeutic Effects of Busulmax 60mg Injection

Bucelon works by interfering with the DNA replication process, which is necessary for the cells to divide. It stops tumor growth by inhibiting cell division. They cause cytotoxicity by reversibly binding to nucleophilic groups on different cell components. Alkylation of DNA is most likely the crucial cytotoxic reaction that kills tumor cells. It damages the DNA and RNA of the cancer cells by stopping their growth and multiplication. They are combined with other medications to treat various lymphatic and solid cancers.
