Cabotres 40mg uses are:

• Advanced renal cell carcinoma

• Liver Cancer

• Differentiated thyroid cancer

It acts against a protein called receptor tyrosine kinases and interferes with cell signaling, ultimately stopping the growth and spread of cancer cells. Cabotres 40mg is indicated alone or in combination with Nivolumab.

Taking Cabotres 40mg Tablet (cabozantinib) with any of the following medicines can change the effect of either of them and may increase the risk of serious side effects.

1. Ketoconazole, Itraconazole, Clarithromycin (Oral Route) Life-threatening
   Do not use together.
   These strong CYP3A4 inhibitors may increase cabozantinib levels in the blood and raise the risk of severe side effects such as liver problems, bleeding, or high blood pressure.

2. Rifampicin (Oral Route) Life-threatening
   Avoid using together.
   Rifampicin may reduce cabozantinib levels and decrease its anticancer effectiveness.

3. Carbamazepine, Phenytoin, Phenobarbital (Oral Route) Life-threatening
   Do not use together.
   These medicines may lower cabozantinib levels and reduce treatment response.

4. St John’s Wort (Herbal Route) Life-threatening
   Avoid concomitant use.
   This herbal product may significantly reduce cabozantinib levels and lead to treatment failure.

5. Warfarin or other anticoagulants (Oral Route) Moderate
   Use with caution.
   Concomitant use may increase the risk of bleeding. Close monitoring is required.

• Store protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

Take Cabotres 40mg as advised by your physician. Usually, this medicine will be given once a day. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct cabotres 40mg dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking this medicine if your doctor advises you to stop.

Cabotres 40mg side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Serious

• Gastrointestinal perforation

• Severe or uncontrollable bleeding

• Shortness of breath

• Nonhealing wound

• Pain in the mouth, jaw/teeth, hand, feet,

• Loss of consciousness,

• Drowsy

• Swelling or sores in the mouth

• Blood vomiting

• Black stools

• Blood in urine

• Headache

• Coughing blood

Common

• Dehydration

• Difficulty swallowing

• Ringing in the ears

• Blood clots in the veins

• Fluctuation in the blood sugar levels

• The lower level of albumin

• Electrolyte imbalance

• Increased levels of liver enzymes

• Elevated cholesterol levels in the blood

• Hair loss

• Changes in hair color

• Muscle spasm

• Skin thickening

• Dry skin

• Itching

• Protein in urine

• Oral contraceptive pills may be less effective during treatment, so discuss suitable contraception options and fertility concerns with your doctor.

• Inform your doctor if you have a thyroid disorder, as thyroid function should be checked regularly before and during treatment.

• Tell your doctor if you notice symptoms such as feeling unusually cold, increased tiredness, or deepening of the voice.

• Do not stop the medicine without medical advice. Report any serious side effects promptly, as your doctor may adjust the dose or stop treatment if needed.

• This medicine is not recommended for children or adolescents.
