Introduction
Canreal 50mg Injection is an antiplatelet medication containing the active constituent cangrelor. It is used to reduce the risk of blood clots in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), a procedure commonly performed to open blocked heart arteries. Blood clots can lead to serious complications such as a heart attack or stroke.
Canreal 50mg Injection works rapidly and is given intravenously in a hospital setting, making it especially useful when immediate platelet inhibition is required. It is often used in patients who have not received oral antiplatelet therapy before the procedure or when oral therapy is not suitable.
Patients receiving this medication should be closely monitored for signs of bleeding. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice unusual bruising, bleeding gums, blood in urine or stools, or prolonged bleeding. Patients with a history of bleeding disorders or recent surgery should discuss risks with their healthcare provider before starting treatment. Canreal 50 mg price is the same across all of India.
