Champix 0.5mg and 1mg tablet contains the active ingredient Varenicline. It belongs to the class of medications called smoking cessation aids. It is used in adults to help them stop smoking. It can help relieve the craving and withdrawal symptoms associated with smoking cessation. It works by blocking the pleasant effects of nicotine from smoking on the brain. The common side effects of varenicline are nausea, abnormal dreams, constipation, flatulence, and vomiting.  

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Champix 0.5mg and 1mg tablet or any ingredients. Inform your physician if you are facing depression, suicidal ideation, behavior, and suicidal attempts while taking the medicine. Inform your physician if you have heart, liver, seizures, skin diseases, and mental disorders. This medicine is not recommended for children. Avoid getting pregnant and breastfeeding during the treatment. Use effective contraception to avoid pregnancy. Do not consume alcohol while taking this medicine.
