Colospect Orange Kit is used to clean the colon as a preparation for colonoscopy in adults. It cleans the colon by causing you to have diarrhea. Colonoscopy is done to examine the changes or abnormalities in the colon (large intestine) and rectum. This medicine is not recommended for patients having blockage in bowel, bowel perforation, a problem with fluid and food emptying from the stomach, or food moving slowly through the intestines.
Colospect Orange Kit should not be given to patients with the dilated intestine. Tell your health care provider if you have heart problems, a history of seizures, kidney problems, stomach problems, gout, and low salt level in blood. Do not eat solid foods or drink alcohol or milk while taking this medicine. Do not drink or eat anything colored purple or red. Severe fluid loss and changes in blood salt levels can occur with this medicine. Drink clear liquids while taking medicine to avoid fluid loss.

How Colospect Orange Kit works:
It causes retention of water in the stool, loosens the stools, facilitates bowel movements and cleans the colon.

Keep this medication out of sight and reach of children. Store between 20°C to 25°C.

How to use Colospect Orange Kit:
Always take this medicine exactly as your physician has told you. Do not eat solid foods or drink alcohol or milk while taking this medicine. Drink only clear liquids. Do not drink or eat anything colored red or purple.

Pregnancy:
Inform your physician if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking this medication. Your physician will instruct you to take it when it is necessary.
Breastfeeding:
Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking this medicine. Your physician will instruct you to take it when it is necessary.
Kidney:
It is important to inform your doctor if you have any kidney problems before taking this medicine.
Others:
- Drink clear liquids (water, clear fruit juices without pulp, clear soda, coffee or tea, clear broth, and gelatin)
- Do not drink or eat anything colored purple or red
- Do not drink milk or alcohol or eat solid foods while taking medicine.
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
Serious:
- Serious loss of body fluid (headache, dizziness, vomiting, urinating less often than normal)
- Changes in salt levels
- Abnormal heartbeat
- Seizures
- Kidney problems
Common:
- Stomach-area bloating, cramping
- Discomfort
