Colsenat Mango Sugar Free Oral Suspension contains the active constituent colesevelam. It is used to lower the cholesterol level along with diet and exercise regimen. The Presence of cholesterol can cause heart disease. It also improves the sugar level control in patients with diabetes. It is not advisable for children less than ten years of age. Inform your doctor if you have bowel disorders or hypertriglyceridemia. Colsenat Mango Sugar Free Oral Suspension can decrease the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Your doctor may suggest you take a vitamin supplement. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding before taking this medicine. Do not take Colsenat Mango Sugar Free Oral Suspension in its dry form.
Uses of Colsenat Mango Sugar Free Oral Suspension:
- Primary hyperlipidemia (elevated low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol)
- Familial hypercholesterolemia
- Improve sugar level control in patients with type 2 diabetes
How Colsenat Mango Sugar Free Oral Suspension works:
Colsenat Mango Sugar Free Oral Suspension binds to bile acids, prevents their absorption, and excretes them in stool, increasing the demand for conversion of LDL cholesterol to bile acids; eventually, the cholesterol level decreases.

Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking or have taken before the treatment.
