Contiflo 0.4mg Tablet contains the active constituent tamsulosin. It is used in men to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia, such as difficulty in urination, urinary dribbling, strong urge to urinate, and frequent urination. It is not advisable for children under 18 years of age. Tell your doctor if you have a severe liver infection, swelling due to allergic reaction, dizziness when you want to sit or stand up from a lying position, fainting after urination, and kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you are taking Contiflo 0.4mg Tablet when planning to undergo cataract surgery. Taking this medicine may cause a drop in blood pressure. Your doctor will examine periodically if you use this medicine for longer periods. If dizziness or weakness occurs, sit down or lay down until the disappearance of the signs.

How Contiflo 0.4mg Tablet works:
Contiflo 0.4mg Tablet reduces the tension in the muscles of the prostate and urethra and facilitates easier urination.

How to use Contiflo 0.4mg Tablet:
Take this medication in the dose and duration prescribed by your physician. Swallow the tablets with water as a whole. Do not chew or crush. Do not stop taking this medicine without medical advice from the doctor.
Safety advice:
Liver:
Inform your doctor if you suffer from a serious infection of the liver before taking Contiflo 0.4mg Tablet.
Kidney:
Inform your doctor if you have any kidney diseases.
Driving:
This medicine may cause dizziness. Avoid driving if you are unwell.
Others:
- Inform your doctor if you have an allergic condition or other diseases.
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
Serious:
- Hypersensitivity reaction (Purplish spots or patches or blisters or peeling on the skin, high fever, joint pain, eye inflammation)
- Swelling of face or throat
Common:
- Dizziness (when sitting up or standing up from the lying position)
- Difficulties with ejaculation
- Headache
- Back pain, chest pain
- Diarrhea
