DEFORT 6MG TABLET

Introduction:

Defort 6mg Tablet consists of the active ingredient Deflazacort. It is a corticosteroid medicine that treats several illnesses by reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system.

Visit your physician immediately if you get chickenpox or measles. Before taking this medicine, tell your healthcare provider if you are sensitive to Deflazacort or its ingredients. Do not receive live or attenuated vaccines during this treatment.

Tell your physician before taking Defort 6mg Tablet if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, weak bones or problems in your eyes, heart,  thyroid gland or blood vessels. Contact your physician immediately if you experience mood disturbances, severe stomach pain or allergic reactions after taking this tablet.

Uses of Defort 6mg Tablet:

Defort 6mg Tablet is indicated to treat the following conditions:

• Inflammation in asthma, allergies and arthritis
• Problems in skin, kidney, heart, eyes, digestive system or blood
• Post-transplant surgery immune suppression
• Tumours 

How Defort 6mg Tablet works:

Defort 6mg Tablet works by binding to glucocorticoid receptors and controls the substances that trigger inflammation. It suppresses the immune system, subsequently preventing the worsening of health conditions.

Interaction with other drugs:

Inform your physician regarding any medicines you are taking or have taken before the treatment.

How to use Defort 6mg Tablet:

Take this tablet whole with water.

Pregnancy:

Talk to your physician before taking this tablet if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby.

Breastfeeding: 

Seek your physician’s advice before taking this tablet if you are a breastfeeding mother.

Liver:

Check with your doctor before taking this tablet if you have liver problems. 

Kidney:

Check with your doctor before taking this tablet if you have kidney problems. 

Driving: 

Do not use tools or drive vehicles during this treatment as this medicine could make you feel dizzy.

Others:
