Docel 80mg Injection uses to treat:

• Non-small cell lung cancer

• Breast cancer

• Stomach or gastric cancer

• Prostate cancer

• Head and neck cancer

Docel 80mg Injection works by inhibiting the microtubule structures present in the cell. Microtubule structures help cancer cells to divide and multiply, which slows the growth of cancer cells and eventually kills them.

1. Ketoconazole (Severe)
   Ketoconazole may increase blood levels of Docel, raising the risk of severe side effects. Use together only under strict medical supervision.

2. Ritonavir (Severe)
   Ritonavir can significantly elevate Docel concentration, increasing toxicity risk. Close monitoring or dose adjustment is required.

3. Erythromycin (Severe)
   This antibiotic may slow Docel metabolism, increasing side effects. Avoid concurrent use unless advised by your doctor.

4. Ciclosporin (Severe)
   Concurrent use may raise Docel levels, leading to higher toxicity risk. Medical supervision is essential.

5. Carboplatin (Moderate)
   Using both may enhance bone marrow suppression, causing anemia or low white blood cell count. Regular blood tests are recommended.

• Keep Docel 80mg Injection out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not store above 25°C.

It will be given by infusion into one of your veins (intravenous use). It is administered by a healthcare professional. The Docel 80mg Injection dosage is determined by your weight and overall health condition. Do not self-administer. 

Docel 80mg Injection side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. 

Serious:

• Severe allergic reactions

• Severe fluid retention

• Severe skin problems

• Swelling of the small intestine and colon

Common:

• Headache, dizziness

• Fever, infections

• Low blood cell count

• Loss of appetite

• Trouble sleeping

• Joint or muscle pain

• Alteration in the sense of taste

• Eye problems, bleeding from the nose

• Nausea, vomiting

• Diarrhea, constipation

• Abdominal pain

• Hair loss, change in color of your nails

• Change or absence of menstrual period

• Weight loss

• Tiredness

• Dry mouth

• High blood sugar

• Decreased blood pressure, rapid heartbeat

• Both men and women taking Docel 80mg Injection should use effective birth control during the treatment period.

• Women of reproductive potential must continue contraception during therapy and for six months after completing the treatment.

• Male patients should avoid fathering children and use reliable contraception for six months after the final dose.

• Inform your doctor immediately if you experience intestinal symptoms such as stomach pain, tenderness, or diarrhea.

• Your healthcare provider may recommend regular blood tests to monitor blood cell counts and liver function during treatment.
