Docshil 120mg Injection is a chemotherapy medication containing the active constituent docetaxel. It is used to treat breast cancer, prostate cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, stomach cancer, head and neck cancer. Cancer is a disorder in which cells multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. This chemotherapy medication is used alone or in combination with other anticancer medicines.
It is contraindicated in patients with a very low number of white blood cells or severe liver diseases. Use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least 6 months after the last dose. You need to inform your physician if you have kidney problems, heart problems, epilepsy, or alcohol addiction before taking Docshil 120mg Injection.
During treatment, you may be given other medicines to maintain the number of your blood cells. Make sure you inform your physician of all the medicines, including supplements and herbal medicines, you are taking before you start treatment with Docshil 120mg Injection.

How Docshil 120mg Injection works:
Docshil 120mg Injection inhibits the microtubule structures present in the cell. Microtubule structures help cancer cells to divide and multiply. Inhibition of these structures slows the growth of cancer cells.

Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking or have taken before the treatment.

It will be given to you by your health care professional.
Safety advice:
Pregnancy:
Docshil 120mg Injection can harm your unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking this medicine.
Breastfeeding:
You must not breastfeed during the treatment with Docshil 120mg Injection and for 1 week after the last dose. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
Liver:
Docshil 120mg Injection is contraindicated in patients with severe liver disorders. You need to tell your doctor if you have any liver disorders before taking this medicine.
Kidney:
You need to tell your doctor if you have any kidney disorders before taking Docshil 120mg Injection.
Driving:
Docshil 120mg Injection can cause dizziness and vision problems. Avoid driving if you are unwell.
Others:
- Inform your physician if you have low white blood cell count, heart problems, epilepsy, or alcohol addiction.
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
Serious:
- Severe allergic reactions (swelling of lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, swallowing, rash)
- Severe fluid retention (swelling in legs or feet, weight gain, shortness of breath)
- Severe skin problems (blistering, peeling, or bleeding on any part of your skin)
- Swelling of small intestine and colon (stomach pain or diarrhea with or without fever)
Common:
- Headache, dizziness
- Fever, infections
- Low blood cell count
- Loss of appetite
- Trouble sleeping
- Joint or muscle pain
- Alteration in the sense of taste
- Eye problems, bleeding from the nose
- Nausea, vomiting
- Diarrhea, constipation
- Abdominal pain
- Hair loss, change in color of your nails
- Change or absence of menstrual period
- Weight loss
- Tiredness
- Dry mouth
- High blood sugar
- Decreased blood pressure, rapid heartbeat
