Introduction to Endogen MD 600IU Injection
Endogen MD 600IU Injection contains the active substance Urofollitropin. It is an ovulation stimulator that belongs to the group of medications called gonadotropins. It is used to treat infertility in women who are not ovulating, including those with polycystic ovarian disease, and who have not responded to treatment with another medicine called clomiphene citrate. It is also used to help multiple follicles and, therefore, to promote fertility in women undergoing IVF (in-vitro fertilisation) or other types of assisted conception. It is also indicated to treat infertility in men due to low sperm count.
Do not take Endogen MD 600IU Injection if you are allergic to Urofollitropin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Do not take this medicine if you have a tumour in the pituitary gland (a gland located on the base of the brain which produces certain hormones, including growth hormones) or in the hypothalamus (an area located under the part of the brain called the thalamus which controls the conditions within your body including body temperature and blood pressure) or in the uterus, ovaries, breast, testicles, or in the prostate gland. Before initiating the treatment, you will be checked for underactive thyroid problems, hormone levels, and tumours of the pituitary and hypothalamus.
Do not take Endogen MD 600IU Injection if you have ovarian cysts that are not due to PCOD, vaginal bleeding, early menopause, physical problems in the reproductive organs if your womb has been removed, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Inform your physician immediately if you face any of these symptoms, such as abdominal pain and swelling, weight gain, diarrhoea, difficulty in breathing, and decreased urination. Inform your physician if you have liver problems and a history of blood clotting disease before starting the treatment with Endogen MD 600IU Injection.

Therapeutic Effects of Endogen MD 600IU Injection
In the absence of sufficient endogenous luteinising hormone (LH), Endogen MD 600IU Injection binds to the follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSH), resulting in ovulation. It also attaches to the LH receptor, causing appropriate hormone release and treating infertility in women.
Interaction of Endogen MD 600IU Injection with other drugs
Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines that you take, including prescription, over-the-counter, recent vaccinations, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Endogen MD 600IU Injection and reduce its effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

How to consume Endogen MD 600IU Injection
Endogen MD 600IU Injection will be given to you by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic setting. It is given as an intramuscular injection (into your muscles) or under the skin. Do not self-administer the injection. Your doctor will decide the dose, route of administration and duration of the treatment based on your disease severity, body weight, and other factors.

Breast Feeding
Breastfeeding is not recommended in patients taking Endogen MD 600IU Injection because the medicine passes into the breast milk in small amounts and may harm your baby.
Alcohol
It is unknown whether consuming alcohol is safe during the treatment with Endogen MD 600IU Injection. Inform your doctor if you are a chronic drinker.
Liver
It is unknown whether Endogen MD 600IU Injection can be used in patients with liver disorders. Consult your doctor if you have any liver problems before starting the treatment.
Lungs
It is unknown whether Endogen MD 600IU Injection can be used in patients with lung disorders. Consult your doctor if you have any lung diseases before starting the treatment.
Driving
Endogen MD 600IU Injection does not affect the ability to drive. If you feel tired or dizzy after taking this medicine, do not drive and consult your doctor for more advice.
Pregnancy
Endogen MD 600IU Injection is unsafe to administer in pregnant women because it may affect the fetus. Inform your physician if you are pregnant, suspect pregnancy, or planning to become pregnant.

Your doctor will regularly perform ultrasound scans and blood tests to monitor your response to the treatment.
