Introduction
Entewell 1mg Tablet is an antiviral drug in the nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) class, containing the active ingredient Entecavir. It is used to treat chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It occurs when the immune system fails to clear the virus from the liver within 6 months of the initial infection.
Before starting the treatment with this drug, it is important to inform your doctor about any existing skin problems, as well as any history of anaemia, seizures, or liver or kidney disease. Regular blood tests may be important to monitor your blood counts and liver function while using this medication.
