Erliso 1mg Injection contains terlipressin. It is used to treat bleeding esophageal varices (bleeding from the enlarged or swollen veins in the food pipe leading to your stomach). It is not recommended for use in adolescents and children. Talk to your physician if you have severe infections, breathing problems, chest pain, heart problems, high blood pressure, kidney disorders, or if you have had a heart attack before taking Erliso 1mg Injection. The common side effects are headache, alterations in blood pressure, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps. You need to inform your physician about all the medications you are taking recently, including herbal medications and supplements. Let your physician know if you experience dizziness, or feeling faint, as these could be signs of a low heart rate.

Erliso 1mg Injection acts on the vasopressin receptor V1a, constricts the blood vessels, and controls bleeding.

Kidney:
You need to tell your doctor if you have any kidney disorders before taking Erliso 1mg Injection.
Driving:
Erliso 1mg Injection may cause dizziness. Avoid driving if you are unwell.
Others:
Talk to your physician if you:
- Have breathing problems, heart disorders, brain disorders, or severe infection.
- Suffer from disturbances in the salt levels in your blood.
- Are over the age of 70 years.
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
Serious:
- Severe shortness of breath
- Severe chest pain
- Persistent and severe irregular heartbeats
- Seizures
