Introduction

Evergraf 0.5mg Tablet is an antineoplastic drug belonging to the class of mTOR kinase inhibitors, containing the active ingredient everolimus. It is commonly prescribed for advanced breast cancer, renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours, and in the treatment of subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (tumours found in the ventricles of the brain). It is also used in certain cases of kidney transplant and other cancers. Good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups are important during treatment since this medicine may cause sores or ulcers in the mouth. In some cases, it is combined with cyclophosphamide, an alkylating agent, to manage subependymal giant cell astrocytoma.

The evergraf 0.5mg dosage must be followed exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Before starting the treatment, it is important to understand that your risk of bacterial or viral infections increases. If you have a history of Hepatitis B, Evergraf 0.5mg Tablet may increase the chances of reinfection. Inform your healthcare provider immediately if you experience fever, chills, cough, yellowing of the skin, joint pain, or swelling.

Patients are advised to limit exposure to sunlight and UV light by wearing protective clothing and using sunscreen regularly, as Evergraf can increase the risk of developing skin cancers. Avoid grapefruit juice or grapefruit during treatment, as it can affect how the drug works.

For patients comparing treatment options, evergraf 0.5mg substitute medicines may be considered if advised by the doctor. Information regarding evergraf 0.5mg price, evergraf 0.5mg for cancer, and evergraf 0.5mg for kidney transplant should be discussed with your healthcare provider or pharmacist for proper guidance. You may also review evergraf 0.5mg tablet substitutes if recommended in your treatment plan.
