Introduction
Ferracore 50mg Injection 10ml contains the active substance ferric carboxymaltose, belonging to the group of medications called iron replacement products. It is primarily used to treat iron-deficiency anaemia (a condition where there are decreased red blood cells due to lower levels of iron in the body) in adults and pediatric patients who cannot tolerate oral iron or when oral iron supplements are ineffective. Ferracore 50mg Injection is also indicated for treating iron deficiency anaemia in adults with chronic kidney disease who are not on dialysis. This medicine is not recommended for pediatric patients less than one year of age.
Before using Ferracore 50mg Injection, inform your physician if you have any allergies to ferric carboxymaltose or any of its components. Do not receive this injection if you have anaemia not caused by iron deficiency, iron overload (too much iron in the body), or any difficulties in utilizing iron. If you have conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, severe asthma, eczema, infection, liver disorders, or low phosphate levels in the blood, inform your doctor. Incorrect administration of this injection may cause irritation and long-lasting discolouration at the injection site.
Ferracore 50mg Injection dosage depends on your specific condition and is typically determined by your doctor. This medication is administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional to ensure proper dosage and minimize side effects.
The most common Ferracore 50mg Injection side effects include nausea, hypertension, flushing, injection site reactions, skin reactions, vomiting, and dizziness. If you have experienced serious allergic reactions to other injectable iron preparations, inform your physician.
If you're looking for pricing details, the Ferracore 50mg Injection 10ml price may vary depending on your location and pharmacy. If you wish to buy Ferracore 50mg Injection online, make sure to purchase it from a trusted, reliable source to ensure the medication's authenticity and safety.
