Introduction to Gliptoza 6mg Injection

Gliptoza 6mg Injection contains an active component called Liraglutide. This medicine belongs to a group of mineral salts. It is used to treat type 2 diabetes. It is also used to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events (Heart disease) in adults with type 2 diabetes. It is used when diet, exercise, and other diabetes medicines are not sufficient to control blood sugar levels. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the medicine or its ingredients before using the medicine.

It is not recommended for patients with type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis (the body produces excess blood acid), liver disease, heart failure, stomach or gut problems (inflammatory bowel disease), acute pancreatitis, or thyroid disease. Consult your doctor if you are planning to get pregnant or think you may be pregnant while breastfeeding. Gliptoza 6mg Injection may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), which makes it hard to focus. Hence, it is advised to avoid driving or operating machines if you have symptoms of hypoglycemia.
