Graniforce MD Tablet belongs to the group of medicines known as 5-HT3 receptor antagonists or antiemetics. It contains the active ingredient, Granisetron. It is used to prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, or sickness caused by cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or after surgery. Nausea is characterised by stomach pain and the urge to vomit. The forcible, voluntary or involuntary emptying of the stomach's contents through the mouth is known as vomiting.

The Graniforce MD tablet uses include:

  • Prevent or treat nausea and vomiting during cancer treatment.

Graniforce MD Tablet works by blocking the action of serotonin (chemical messenger) in the brain, which is responsible for nausea and vomiting during cancer treatment like chemotherapy and radiation therapy or after surgery.
