Indocap SR 75mg Capsule contains an active component called indomethacin. This medicine belongs to a group known as 'non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents' or NSAlDs. The medicine helps to reduce the body's ability to produce inflammation, which is responsible for causing pain and discomfort. People with high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels, diabetes, heart problems or a habit of smoking, asthma, digestive tract, liver or kidney disease, and blood clotting problems should consult their doctor before starting treatment to avoid the potential contraindications caused by the drug.

Indocap SR 75mg Capsule blocks the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which is involved in the synthesis of prostaglandin (helps in constriction of blood vessels) resulting in reducing the pain and inflammation in the body.

How to consume Indocap Sr 75mg Capsule

It is best consumed with food or immediately after meals to minimise stomach upset. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water—do not crush, chew, or break it. Try to take it at the same time each day for better results. Do not exceed the recommended dose, and continue taking it for the full prescribed duration, even if you feel better. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's almost time for your next one; never double the dose.
