LAMINO 10% PLUS INJECTION

Introduction:

Lamino 10% Plus Injection contains essential and nonessential amino acids with electrolytes. It is used in the treatment of negative nitrogen balance. Negative nitrogen balance (body loses protein) occurs due to inadequate protein intake, impaired absorption, increased protein loses due to kidney disorders or blood loss, bed rest, injuries, burns, fever, or increased secretion of thyroid hormone. You need to tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Lamino 10% Plus Injection. Tell your doctor if you have heart disorders, liver disorders, kidney disorders, or lung problems before taking this medicine.

Uses of Lamino 10% Plus Injection:

Lamino 10% Plus Injection is used to treat negative nitrogen balance in patients where

• Gastrointestinal absorption of protein is impaired
• Metabolic requirements for protein are considerably increased
• The alimentary tract should not or cannot be used

How Lamino 10% Plus Injection works:

Lamino 10% Plus Injection supplements the body with amino acids and electrolytes and improves the protein balance.

Breastfeeding:

Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking Lamino 10% Plus Injection. It will be given to you if clearly needed.

Liver:

You need to tell your doctor if you have any liver disorders before taking Lamino 10% Plus Injection. Your doctor may adjust the dose according to your condition.

Kidney:

You need to tell your doctor if you have any kidney disorders before taking Lamino 10% Plus Injection. Your doctor may adjust the dose according to your condition.

Others:

• Inform your doctor if you have any allergic conditions, heart diseases, or lung disorders.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Common:

• Folic acid deficiency
• Abnormal liver function
• Fever, chills
• Injection site reactions
• Nausea, vomiting
