Introduction to Lamino 10% Plus Injection

Lamino 10% plus injection contains active components called Amino acids injection 10% w/v with electrolytes. This medication provides essential amino acids and electrolytes to patients who cannot eat or absorb food normally.   is used in various conditions, including malnutrition, short bowel syndrome( intestinal disorder causing malabsorption and diarrhea), pancreatitis(pancreas inflammation with abdominal pain), cancer, kidney disease, liver disease, critical illness, burns, and pre-and post-surgical nutrition.

Amino acids injection of 10% w/v with electrolytes should be avoided in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the medication. This medication should be avoided in cases of metabolic acidosis, severe renal insufficiency without hemodialysis or hemofiltration treatment, advanced liver insufficiency, fluid overload, shock, hypoxia, and decompensated heart failure. It should be used cautiously in patients with renal insufficiency, pulmonary disease, cardiac insufficiency, electrolyte imbalances, and metabolic disorders involving impaired nitrogen utilization. It is important to closely monitor kidney and heart function in older adults and children using Lamino 10% plus injection.
