Materna FSH 150 IU Injection contains the active substance Urofollitropin and is an ovulation stimulator belonging to the group of medicines called gonadotropins. It is commonly prescribed to treat infertility in women who are not ovulating, including those with polycystic ovarian disease, especially when previous treatment with clomiphene citrate has not worked. It is also used to help produce multiple follicles, thereby increasing the chances of pregnancy in women undergoing Materna FSH injection for IVF or other assisted conception methods.
