Minirin Melt MD 120mcg Tablet contains an active component as Desmopressin. It also known as DDAVP (1-desamino-8-D-arginine vasopressin), is a synthetic form of the hormone vasopressin. Vasopressin is naturally produced in the body by the hypothalamus and released from the pituitary gland. It plays a crucial role in regulating water balance, blood pressure, and urine production.  Minirin Melt MD 120mcg Tablet is the treatment of choice for central diabetes insipidus, a condition characterized by the inability of the body to properly regulate water balance. It helps reduce excessive thirst and urination by mimicking the action of vasopressin.
