Mirena IUD 52mg Pack is not taken orally. It is a hormone-releasing intrauterine device that must be inserted into the uterus by a qualified doctor or healthcare professional. Do not attempt to use or insert the device yourself.

Your doctor will:

• Assess your medical history and perform necessary tests before insertion.

• Insert the device during or just after your menstrual period for optimal placement.

• Schedule a follow-up visit within 4 to 12 weeks to ensure the IUD is in place and functioning properly.

Once inserted, Mirena provides contraceptive protection for up to 5 years and can be removed at any time when pregnancy is desired.
